Telehealth has recently increased in popularity as a preferred option for many families and clients to attend therapy sessions since the COVID-19 outbreak.
Telehealth is the method of providing health care services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology, behaviour support, mentoring, counselling, social services and other allied health therapy services, via real time video on a computer or personal device, or over the phone.
Telehealth means you can access your appointment from a location outside of a usual Autism SA clinical setting.
If you are interested in a telehealth session and you are a current client please speak with an Autism SA team member who will help you get started. If you are not currently an Autism SA client but would like to access telehealth services with us, please leave your details on the contact form on this page, identifying which services you are most interested in. Once we receive your details one of our friendly Pathways Consultants will contact you to help you get started.
Our Autism Spectrum Consultants and Facilitators are now able to provide support in a number of different ways including via telehealth. This provides continuing support to students while they are not in school, or not able to access services at their school.
Some of our Individual Community Supports have also transitioned to an online format, with clients able to receive their essential support via telehealth one to one with their Autism SA team member.
Psychology, Behaviour Support & Counselling can now be accessed via a combination of phone calls, emails, remote meetings, resource development and direct services (in home, clinic or school).
Complete the form below and provide us with your email or contact number and we will get in touch with more information.
